04.02.2020 Day 12

Margie and Marlene are big enough to be seen above the nest now. Their little beaks stick up like antennae, and occasionally slurp at the air. Are they tasting for something? Or are they chatting (arguing) with each other? They are 12 today. 12-year-olds have ideas, opinions and a desire to share them.

In this next clip, it’s amazing to see how much the Chicks are starting to resemble actual birds! They are flipping regularly now, swapping positions. Margie decides she’s had enough of Marlene for a bit, and sits almost straight up and takes a look at the big world on it’s way by as she flops over into a new spot.

The Chicks are tight in their nest - and sometimes they need a little time apart.

Did you see their little mouths and tongues moving? I’d love to see what viewers come up with for the conversation between Margie and Marlene. I’m sure we all see something different!
